Diane Moore Spradlin, 72, died peacefully at home on June 26, 2015. She was born in Indianapolis on February 26, 1943, to Harold Trees Moore and Mary Lenore Moore. She leaves behind her loving husband, Tom; son, Todd (Maria) Goble of Cincinnati; daughter, Molly (David) Baker of Westfield; and stepson Marcus (Anastasia) Spradlin of Providence, RI. She had six loving grandchildren, Nicholas and Olivia Goble, William Baker, Victoria and Philip Spradlin, and Zaria Van Goethem. She also left behind a legion of friends.
All of us will miss her love, her generosity, and her vitality. She taught us what it is to love and be loved. We will miss her deeply, but we take comfort in knowing that her suffering is behind her.
A celebration of Diane’s life will be held on Thursday, July 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers or other offerings of love, memorial contributions be made in her name to the American Cancer Society and/or the American Lung Association.

Marcia Smith says
I shall miss your effervescent presence in future North Central Class of 1961 reunion meetings and events. Just like in high school, you had a knack for getting projects done and having a ball doing it. What a joy it was to share those times with you. Rest in peace, friend and fellow classmate.
Judy Mendell Donie says
Dear Tom and family,
Though we didn’t see each other often, Diane always seemed like she’d seen you just yesterday. Her effervescent smile, her warmth and her rosy outlook were part of what made her special.
I am glad I knew her all of these many years – nearly 60 – and like everyone else, I will miss her.
Tom, you have my thoughts and my prayers for the strength you need and may the wonderful memories shine through each day.
